About Duandelyn Wilson

Duandelyn Wilson, NP, is a nurse practitioner and an important member of the team at RIA Neurovascular, bringing her extensive experience in family practice and neonatal care to the practice. She is a decorated military officer in the United States Air Force Nurse Corps and prides herself on her ability to deliver effective, compassionate care to her patients.

She received a Bachelor of Science in nursing, graduating magna cum laude from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, and a Master of Science in nursing with honors from Regis University in Denver. 

She continued her education with a post-master’s program at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado, where she received a family nurse practitioner certificate. She is board-certified as a neonatal nurse practitioner.

In her 15 years of experience, Duandelyn led nursing assignments at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Lackland Air Force Base located in Texas. Much of her work has involved the care of neonates. She has certifications in a number of advanced nursing techniques in family practice and neonatal and pediatric medicine, including life support and resuscitation.

Duandelyn is a member of several professional societies, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Society of Air Force Nurses, the American Nurses Association, and the Colorado Nurses Association. She is a member of the nursing society, Sigma Theta Tau.
