Board-certified in both diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology, Ian Kaminsky, MD, MS, is one of the leading neurointerventional surgeons practicing at RIA Neurovascular, in Englewood, Colorado. Dr. Kaminsky earned his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Science with honors at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, in St. Maarten, Netherland Antilles. He served his internship and his radiology residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Dr. Kaminsky went on to complete rigorous fellowship training in diagnostic neuroradiology at Weill Cornell Medical Cancer Center, New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, in New York. He participated in an additional prestigious fellowship program in endovascular surgical neuroradiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
