Dr. Juan Gómez is a board-certified neurointerventional radiologist known for combining advanced clinical training with a grounded, human-centered approach to patient care. He completed fellowships at Johns Hopkins University in Diagnostic Neuroradiology and Interventional Neuroradiology, followed by a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute. These fellowships followed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Tulane University, where he served as Chief Resident and received multiple awards for research, leadership, and clinical excellence.
With more than 15 years of experience in complex cerebrovascular and endovascular interventions, Dr. Gómez has held prominent leadership roles, including serving as Medical Director of a comprehensive stroke program and directing multiple neurointerventional and vascular programs. He has also successfully launched three comprehensive stroke programs from the ground up, building multidisciplinary teams and systems that continue to benefit patients today.
