About Nicolle Schraeder

Nicolle Schraeder, NP, is the practice manager at RIA Neurovascular. She is an experienced and essential member of the group, collaborating with the medical team to deliver patient care and effectively managing the day-to-day activities of the practice.

Nicolle attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado, and earned an associate’s degree in nursing from the Community College of Denver. Her education continued with a master’s degree in nursing from Regis University in Denver. She was awarded a post-master’s certificate in acute care NP-Adult/geriatrics from Colorado State University-Pueblo and is also a certified registered nurse in critical care and neurosciences.

Before coming to RIA Neurovascular, Nicolle had nearly 20 years of hospital-based experience. She was a Level III and Level IV charge nurse, caring for patients with a variety of neurological and spinal disorders. She was also responsible for the training and ongoing professional development and competency of the clinical staff.

In addition to her clinical activities, Nicolle has served as a clinical instructor and a site coordinator for several research projects.  She has also authored technical and academic articles, and given several clinical presentations.

Nicolle is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and the American Association of Neurosciences Nurses. 

Nicolle was nominated for the prestigious Nightingale Award for Excellence in Nursing in 2008.
